வழக்கமாக நான் இந்த காப்பி-பேஸ்ட் வேலையை செய்வதில்லை. ஆனால் QUORA இணையதளத்தில் இதை படிக்க நேர்ந்தபோது இதை பதிய வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் வந்தது.

சுருக்கமாக சொல்லவேண்டுமென்றால், அந்த காலத்தில் படிக்கும்போது கல்வி இந்த அளவுக்கு சுமையாக இல்லை. இப்போது எட்டாவது படிக்கும்போதே பத்தாவது கல்விக்கான பாடத்தையும் இப்போதே படிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற அளவுக்கு பெற்றோர்களின் மனநிலை போய்விட்டது. டியூஷன் என்பது மக்கு பிள்ளைகளுக்காக என்று இருந்த நிலைமை மாறி, பாடத்திட்டங்கள் அதிகமாகிவிட்டதால் கூடுதல் கவனம் செலுத்தி படிக்க இந்த டியூஷன் தேவைப்படுகிறது என்று சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு கல்வி வந்துவிட்டது.

இது தவிர, கம்ப்யூட்டர் மற்றும் இன்ன பிற துறைகள் என கல்வி விரிவடைந்துகொண்டே போகும் நிலையில், கூடுதலாக ஒரு மொழி என்பது மாணவர்களுக்கு சிரமம்தானே?

இன்றைய பெற்றோர்கள் அவர்கள் சுமக்காத ஒரு சுமையை தன் பிள்ளைகளின் மீது திணிக்கிறார்கள். இது என்ன நியாயமோ?    

Why is the central government imposing Hindi on South India?

As a teacher of secondary school (author's friend) ,I can definitely say children already work hard . What government draft say is before finishing 10th grade you should demonstrate your proficiency in three languages (literature level). Even for two language it takes lot of time and practice to clear the exams . And now if it becomes 3 what are the benefits the child will get studying this much languages. If a 10th grade student says he could do three languages Will the government give him/her scholarship or Central government job ? Are there any foreign universities which will select these kids for engineering or doctor programs ? NOTHING. JUST WASTE OF PRECIOUS TIME.

1. To satisfy whom do these kids want to do such hectic learning which is useless for majority of the children

2. If the central government wants to show Hindi as dominant ,I wanted to say to them, if Hindi had been dominant ,we would have studied it by ourselves. But we studied English, didn't we? Unfortunately eng became the survival and professional language to the whole world. From east to west everyone is studying English. Only this way we can instantly know all the modern education needed for survival. English is just a preference because it eases tedious translating work.

Without any such uses like English and to merely satisfy someone's(either Northeners or politicians) wish we will not waste our time and money in these things. Unless a kid wants to go to the Northern States it cannot help him anyway. Is there any other use for him or his family in the long run? Will it (the the time he spent) be useful for his professional development ? BIG FAT NO. Don't we remember those who want to go to the US have to pass some language tests ?

Likewise if someone wishes to visit North they'll learn for themselves.

Finally we(Tamil and South Indians)came to understand that the central government is imposing this to show off their majority, How dominant they are! But we need to tell them only one thing. We (South) are a separate language family And had remained isolated from Mughal empires till 1600. It takes lot of time and efforts to make our children learn 3 languages. In that time we can prepare them for NEET, JEE, GRE……and equip them better for survival in this GLOBAL VILLAGE.

Stop showing off. Hereafter we will never agree any of your misleading arguments.
